The problem
A growing coffee chain lost customers to the morning queue. Their old app was a web view that forgot your order, logged you out and froze on weak mall Wi-Fi.
What I built
A native-feeling Flutter app for iOS and Android. Customers save a usual order, pick a pickup time and pay before they leave the office. The barista screen shows orders in the sequence people will actually arrive.
How
Riverpod keeps state predictable across the menu, cart and checkout. Orders queue locally and sync when the signal returns, so a dropped connection never loses a paid order. Animations stay at 60fps on four-year-old Android phones, which I tested on real devices, not just the simulator.
Result
Mobile orders passed walk-in orders at two outlets within three months. The app holds a 4.8 rating, and the most common review mentions that it simply remembers what you like.
